So hopefully this topic won’t be merged by a certain Crab <3(@8BitCrab ) but as others have suggested but haven’t gone in very great detail…a Fisherman Class! Now I know what you’re thinking…“What’s so different from this topic than those other ones?” Well, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this class and have even tried scribbling some things together to go along with it!

Fishing is a good way to get resources and also diversify a city’s potential. If it isn’t already being implemented it definitely should be! Also it would be cool to see some voxel fishies!!!
Building my village on my island in a lake made me realize I missed something; something that has been an essential part of humanity’s food supply and has been a job among people for thousands of years: fisherman. I would love to see a fisherman class added.

If any of this could be implemented, that would be awesome. Maybe a port beacon like the rally flag that can be placed above water which at the very least, adds an animation of a trader sailing up, when you receive daily traders in your pop ups.

But really, any more in depth interaction with the water would be nice.
Just making fun don’t be mad but there are dozens threads with this suggestion.

It seems strange to me, given our media’s tendency to stereotype fishing as tedious and time-wasting (I’m looking at you, “overu…

Fisherman can also have a chance to find rare gems to socket into items OR skills (example: +5% mining speed) etc… can find coins inside fishes (a rare ones of course, for a special quest or mini-game like puzzle … and what not…)
