I never realised how horrific pet squirrels were.

As far as I can tell there are no nuts in the game (apart from deez nuts hue hue hue)

But still, these seems like an extreme alternative.

well, all pets actually eat meat/jerky, i once found my fox eating his dead brother :no_mouth:

Step 1. Tame Flesh-hungering squirrel.
Step 2. Train Flesh-hungering Squirrel to hate goblins…
Step 3. Don’t feed Flesh-hungering squirrel for a few days…
Step 4. Release Squirrel on goblins!

It’d be nice if you could bury pets instead (Like a tiny tombstone similar to Hearthling tombstones)

But still, foxes are allowed to and supposed to eat meat.
Seems super creepy for squirrels haha,

@Solus I’m pretty sure there are tv shows / movies where trainers were cruel to their pets (e.g. not feeding them) so they would be more aggressive. Doesn’t turn out well most of the time I’m pretty sure.

I like the idea of this!

*Thought bubble appears, as I contemplate what I would do if such a system were implemented *

  • *Adopts pet by gaining its undying trust and love *
  • *Buries it alive almost immediately in order to obtain a cute pet tombstone *
  • *Mourn poor Fluffy’s tragic end, crying out despairingly, asking why it had to be this way! *
  • *Enjoys having the decorative feature of cute tombstone, but doesn’t want fluffy to be alone *
  • *Rinse, wash, repeat until you have a cute pet graveyard *

Like, noone else will ever see them. They’ll only be in his game to monitor him and… his… wickedness…

I’m talking about the “what if” scenario where your pet perishes protecting the village (or get’s stepped on)

The real (future) criminals here are @Wuelfe and @8BitCrab.
With the plotting and the scheming and the bippity boppity booping!

I think that we have stumbled upon the horrible secret of the Hearthian Zombie Apocalypse. The squirrels bit the Hearthians and turned them into flesh eating zombies!

If i move my hearthling tombstone into the pet cemetery will my hearthling come back to life and kill every one?..
