Correct but if it turns 8am in game whilst they are down, you don’t get a new hearthling and have to wait an extra day. I only play with 20 hearthlings - performance - so I’d rather have a new one today rather than tomorrow.
Moving to resolved. If anyone notices more death loops with starving hearthlings, please bump the thread.
My hearthling isn’t getting healed by my herbalist. Both potions and bandages aren’t being used at all, despite the surplus.
Welcome to the forum, @Genex
Hearthlings will only go to rest to beds if their health is below 50%. Also, after the herbalist treats them, they have a debuff and can’t be treated again until 5h later. How much health do your hearthlings have left?
Its the rescue feature that keeps glitching. My footman fell in battle, but
after being rescued (after several failed attempts) he was put into a bed
and not treated at all. He keeps recovering, but never leaves the bed and
always starves back to the initial fallen state. Nobody feeds him and my
herbalist won’t treat him for some reason, so he’s stuck in an endless
death loop.
Can you upload the save where this is occurring?
To upload a save, locate the folder in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games
(assuming a default Steam install), zip the individual save’s folder (not the entire saved_games
folder), and upload it. If the *.zip
is less than 10 MB, feel free to upload it directly to the Discourse. If larger, please upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and post the sharing link here.
Which version are you playing, @Genex?
This was already fixed. It might be the case that the footman has the debuff, but he should be able to get up from the bed and go to eat, if there’s food available.
If you upload the savefile, as @jomaxro requested, we can take a look at it.
I just got the update. Everything seems to be in order now.
I was actually having this issue a few days ago. After saving the game and reloading the loop seems to have ended, and I saw a hungry little hearthling sitting in a big pile of food all Halfling style.
