[Res] Game insta crashes on start

If you could post your system specs that would help a lot. Also have you tried playing the 32 BIT version and does it give the same outcome? Just to confirm you’ve deleted the entire thing and re-installed it manually?

Also are you trying to load a world or is this happening on all worlds? Are you getting any errors or instantly crashing?

And also you’ve said everything’s up to date. Just to confirm your graphics card has no updates?

Processor: AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon™ HA Graphics 1.50 GHzR
RAM: 8.00 GB (7.45 usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Its a Windows 8.1

No I have not played the 32 BIT version, also it crashes instantly when I just want to start it up.

Hmm this is a strange issue, Would it be possible for you to test the 32 BIT version I’m not sure if it will change anything but worth a try if you want. If you’d like to you can switch between 32 / 64 BIT by going on the main menu screen, Then you’ll see a button saying setting, Press that and then click system. Then if you’re using the 64 BIT un-tick it, Same process for going back to the 64 BIT just re - tick it. You don’t have to try this just suggesting a few things to try and help.

Hope this can help you in some way.

No it wont i cant even start up Stonehearth

It will not help me I cant even open the game, when i open it. It says Stonehearth has stoped working, then i close it nothing happens.

Oh I apologize I thought you weren’t able to start a game. Hmm I’m really not sure then sadly. I’ve been looking at other topics that have had similar issues but a clean install for them seems to have fixed it. But seeing as you’ve said you’ve already done that nothing else comes to mind.

Sorry about that, Hopefully someone else around here knows more and will be able to help you.

Hmm, looks like your display driver isn’t up to date. Might want to update it and see if that fixes your problem.

Your Driver version appears to be: 13.152.1.1000
Lastest appears to be: 14.501.1003

k’ if you could inform us when thats finished and you try again, that would be great

You could also try to execute the game manually, perhaps the problem it’s your Steam

But yeah, we’ve had lots and lots of users with these problems, and updating the graphic drivers was holy hand. On 90% of cases. So first of all is getting your game to work.

On the other hand, those recently crashes on 64bit version are really frustrating for most people… Remember that this is alpha, the game is not optimized. People get so hyped and then try to play as if it was the final release, that bugs me. Although it’s the only way to push the limits and find the minimum requirements for the game, plus plenty of performance bugs :expressionless: (sorry for the derailment)
