Replacing Grassland incorrectly cleared by Hearthlings

So I have a neat little town going, for me anyway, as a beginer.

Any who, for some reason they decided to carve out a chunk of grassland as if I’d told them to mine it, when I hadn’t?

So how do I get them to replace grass that they have incorrectly cleared away?

Unfortunately, at this time there is no way to replace grass blocks in the main game. There is a mod that has more colors for building and would allow you to place blocks that are colored like the grass, though.
