Sorry for voxel inaccuracy.

Itā€™s been a while since I posted here, huh? (according to Discourse, 559 days)ā€¦

I had some old models lurking out there, so I thought of uploading them. These are really old (from at least one year ago), and I had a hard time finishing them, due to the level of detail. Itā€™s unavoidable to lose some details, yeahā€¦ I felt nostalgic, probably made them because I read some related post on the Discourse.

Without further adoā€¦ some Sword Art Online characters:

Feel free to modify them and use them if you want.

Iā€™ll link here the replicas of the SAO swords, made by @Yangzhoui :

just had a look through this entire thread, i must say you are quite talented!

Great stuff, Relyss!
Hope youā€™re still involved in the Alpha/this community.

Thank you, @CptDipstick

The truth is that Iā€™m having hard times at work IRL, and I barely have time to check the forums.

Iā€™m trying to catch up with the livestreams and the replies on the forum, but itā€™ll take some more days or (I hope not) weeks until I can resume properly my collaboration here.

I have so many plans for the mods I made, they need an update, and probably theyā€™ll break soon anyway.

And thank you very much @8BitCrab for managing the bug reports when Iā€™m not available.

mehā€¦ i dont do that much, and i actually tend to slack off a bit to much in the bug report categoryā€¦ but your welcome

Bugs are such unappreciated and unloved creaturesā€¦
Maybe we should make some Stonehearth versions, aye?! Locust swarms invading your grain siloā€™s, anyone!?

Random thought: How cool would it be to have moles in Stonehearth, leaving mole hillsā€¦ giving the opportunity to play a whack-a-mole mini-game?

These are some very good models here. Too bad I canā€™t create something like this but, how are these animated by the way? Are there any voxel modelling application similar to Qubicle that is free?

currently iā€™m using magicavoxel, only problem with that is it doesnt allow for multiple matrices, so you cant make things that need animation.

Oh, too bad I was very interested in animating some of my jobs that I suggested and drawn.

well their are a few others around, specifically their is [stonevox][1] which was made for stonehearth, though its a bit ā€œunstableā€ if iā€™m not mistaken, though come to think of it, im not sure if it allows for multiple matrices.

but hey, its free so you might as well test it out.

It seems it is still being planned, itā€™s not on the current features yet but thank you by the way. I will follow that topic and see if there are any updates.

after playing around with it a bit, it appears hat voxelshop allows for multiple layers, which should allow for animation. though tha program can be a bit finicky (as its in development) and at points confusing.

but i still say its worth looking into.

and sorry for this derailment of your thread @Relyss :grimacing:

Your stuff is SOO cute. When are you going to make more?
