More Kinect support would be nice, but its hard to say on how the quality would be for a Kinect game. I would like a strategy game as well. One of my favorite genres even though I’m a terrible strategist. You don’t have to be good to enjoy a game =D

If past Kinect games are any indication it might tank. I feel like Microsoft is thinking it through after the blow back from the Kinect Cost etc.
I mean, if they optimized Kinect and really made it better, then it is clearly a good idea to champion it, but if it’s just Krapnect 2.0, then just no.
Thing is, they claimed Kinect was best to begin with. They hyped it up with high standards and it tanked.
From the wise words of Albert Einstein “Insanity is trying the same thing again and again, expecting different results.”
Very true, but maybe they are improving the Kinect this time around and the quality of games are improved. Its hard to say because as far as I have seen there isn’t much on those topics. Then again, maybe I’m just being too hopeful for something that already died.
But then, what was the alternative to Kinect? There may have been the PS3 eye, but the fact that I’m unsure of whether or not it existed is proof enough of its un-success, if it existed at all.
There was PS Move. It was similar to Wii. I never used it so I’m not sure how it was but I would THINK it would be better as the PS Eye tracked the lights on top of the controllers you held instead of you hand. Much more accurate.
I’ve always felt that no matter how you look at it, the Oculus Rift has the lead in motion control. Although, it’s not even part of the competition.
Seriously, though, what I saw at the Kinect’s showcase was a clear improvement over the previous gen’s capabilities, from what I know.
On a side note, does anyone know how to get the little title/description things below their usernames?
Winning contests or being moderator
Or blackmailing @SteveAdamo and @Geoffers747 with those pictures…
perhaps a separate, clean thread, that is purely to capture votes would suffice? this can remain as a means to discuss the pros and cons of each console, while the other is simply to capture votes…
edit: if someone wants to make that thread, in community feedback, i’ll pin it for a while… ![]()
or knowing @sdee’s password being able to do 100 pull-ups…
Then why don’t I have one? My record is 127
enjoy your (temporary) honorary title… oh master of the pull-ups! ![]()
Sounds like there’s a plan for me. How exciting ![]()
you keep making those weekly … contributions, and you’ll find out soon enough…

Yeah, despite next gen. looking awesome and all, I’m not going to be getting either (at least in the short run). With EA already charging £55 for EVERY game on next gen., others are soon likely to follow, not something I appreciate, so I’m just going to build a nice ~£800+ PC instead, probably get The Division which looks AMAZING in case some of you haven’t seen it already.
I felt the same but in reverse. the Xbox controller felt WAY to big and bulky when I tried it out.
