Come on bunny head statues! Go go!

I believe the title should be: Poll: What stone feature should Tom work on next?

Also, is there any way people can vote on more than one? The order of work priority could go from most voted to least voted.

A dragon, that, maybe in the future could be awaken by a mage dude.

It would be great if we had a little more lore to work with. Are dragons even in this world? That kind of thing.

I have no idea what you’re referring to… that’s clearly the existing title… :stuck_out_tongue:

edit: and unfortunately no, I don’t think you can vote on more than one…

I feel like the bunny people have a good shot at becoming the iconic “mascot”-like race of the game. Gotta honor them with some ruins and statues to help establish the mysterious yet undeniable centrality of their role on the game.

I’d really like the shrine. Having structures of some sort would instantly make the current world generation that much more interesting. However, I think having some new mobs or NPCs associated with it, in addition to any new collectibles or materials that would come with it, would make it more reasonable and interesting as a new feature.
Granted, though, we’d need a way to direct the settlers to explore it…

Totally agreed with Atralane, a shrine would add more depth to the game than a simple decor statue IMO. It would also be the beginnings of a new direction in gameplay if the shrine offers more than just harvestable stone, as currently the open world has very little to offer. Decor is nice and all, and I would love to see more, but gameplay elements are more interesting at this point. And no offense… but dragons are overrated and way too abused for a fantasy stereotype.

Very disappointed I missed the stream, 9 AM = work/class hours :frowning: Hope it’ll be archived and uploaded soon!

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the dragon at this stage of the game. Currently, we have pretty basic features: only one class of enemy, and only one military profession: the footman, who uses a wooden sword. To me, any sort of epic mythological creature, even if it’s just a skeleton or something, doesn’t feel right without corresponding epic jobs like the geomancer or magma smith. Of course, eventually, I’d love to see all of these things lying around all over the world

Haha yeah for sure please no Dragon boss yet. But seeing as the topic was about stone features I kinda assumed it was just a stone statue of a Dragon which just feels decorative and unnecessary when there’s so much more to be added that’ll create depth. Assuming adding new features is the priority as opposed to optimization or bug fixing.

I assume when they say “dragon”, they’re referring to the small dragons Radiant designed as a type of pet during the Kickstarter. If that’s the case, I can see them getting added relatively soon (however, they weren’t intended to have any serious function in the game besides being some fun, pointless goodies, so it won’t introduce a lot of new game elements). If it’s something akin to the End Dragon or Skyrim, that’s…well, I don’t think we’re quite ready for those yet.

Indeed, sorry I didn’t specify, but I was referring to stone dragon statues or whatever you want to call them, since they allude to the existence of their more deadly animated cousins

yeah, I believe TR intends to get these on YT sooner, rather than later, given the recent Twitch archival upheaval…

yes, but they could be their long since extinct, animated deadly cousins…
