Do I need to learn what to do with mixintos to add new stuff or do I just need to continue what I’ve been attempting to do?

Depends on what you want to do.

If your market pack is just adding recipes you’d just mixinto the carpenter_recipe.json and then create yourItem_recipe.json into your mod for each item and then add an alias for each item and proxy into the manifest.

I haven’t really messed with mixintos since the newest release but they are a bit buggy in Alpha 2 from what I hear.
