I think it would be a good idea to have the notification alert show a different color when the only notification you have is one about, say, a trader returning in x number of hours. I found myself checking it a bunch of times because it was nice and yellow and inviting looking, expecting a new notification. Perhaps it could be the regular blue when nothing is up, yellow when you have a new notification, and a kind of less-bright color (not sure which) when there’s a message in there, but it’s not something new or unseen? Just a thought.
