SO! I was thinking that a cool feature for the archers.Varying weapon types and such. I know a similar topic was already made, but I think I have some new ideas.

Poison arrows. Similar to fire arrows, but more potent, while also more expensive (Requiring a potion/item from the herbalist). Maybe mixes both slow and fire, so it deals damage over time and slows the enemies down

New weapons. Simply put, branching the weapon… branches.
A) Shortbow. Short range, medium fire rate, small damage. Starter weapon
B) Longbow. Far range, slow fire rate, large damage
C) Recurve bow. Medium range, fast fire rate, medium damage
D) Crossbow. Very far range, very slow fire rate, very high damage (Quarter health on normal goblins maybe?) Possibly incompatible with the upgraded arrows -
Special guard menu that allows you to change their arc of fire. So they stay put and fire in a single arc (85ish degree cone?)

Volley fire at high levels. When two or more archers stand within, say 4 units of another archer, they will fire at the same time if they use the same weapon type.

For f***'s sake, give archers height advantages, so castle defenses WORK
