Thanks for both the savefile and the template!
It helps seeing where the template is located because sometimes the template won’t be buildable depending on the terrain (for example, if it’s against cliffs, or touching the water). We’re trying to find those edge cases.
That’s a really beautiful build! You really understand the hearthling scale well. I broke something with roofs, but should have this fixed shortly. In the meantime, if you don’t mind compromising your building’s aesthetics a little, if you adjust the roof so that one of the sides does not have a slope, then there’ll be a wall for the roof to ‘rest’ on, and then the whole thing should build nice and clean (you don’t even have to add the ladders you have in your save…)
