Come here, children! I want to tell you a story. Sit down, little Brom Burlyhands and young Raven Northpoint. Don’t worry, We have plenty of berries there.
A long time ago, in lands far away, some people found themselves in a world. Similar to their own, but changed. This is a story about how they started changing the world themselves…
"Anno Domini 1300. A mysterious disease called by native people ‘Black Death’ went way worse than expected. All countries were turned to dust. Anarchy and chaos spreaded through lands, which destroyed most signs of any Civilization.
But hope has returned into lands. In random places of the world a mysterious people arrived. They were called ‘Players’ by natives. And their skills guided them to be a rulers of those forgotten lands…"
#Rules:
1. This is Turn-based game. One turn = 4 years. Each turn has three phases.
- Administration - Everything about internal organization and development of a country.
- Diplomacy - external influence of a country, including Diplomacy, Trade, exploration and espionage. If you want to spy a country, just declare an ‘espionage action’ and send me details by PM.
- Military - forces. Both naval and land.
2. Starting year is AD 1300 (I’ll be using NW 1 (1st year of the New World)), but I added a little ‘Fantasia’ here. Because of the overexpansion of bra… “Black Death”, all nations will have similar start. And depending of your turns, you may be develop very differently.
3. Being irrational and thinking you are better than others may cause problems.
4. Feel free for use a Discussion channel for negotiating and publish the results here (in Diplomacy Phase).
5. Actual informations are in this post, under the Files section.

What will be different comparing to the ‘old game’ in playing?
- It may be a little harder to conquer, but fair.
- We will be better prepared for eventually PvP actions.
- Mods will have way more work.
What will be different comparing to the ‘old game’ in technicals?
- Trade will be finally lucrative. Each province may produce one of three types of goods. Supplies, Metal and Luxury. Each army/navy has needs of those goods, according to its power and experience. But first your people must discover, which type of good may be produced in a province.
- We, Players, in this world are immortal beings. But to prove, we are destinied to be a king, I am introducing a Courtyard. Each player starts alone, but may get some allies from the natives. If they will be good in some skill, they will be invited to your Court. And they will become your Diplomats, Merchants, Officers, Priests, Explorers… or even Spies. Their help may be very useable (for example, your soldiers are fighting better under your or officer commands). There is one problem with them - they are vulnerable and they can die from diseases, wounds or even from old age.
#Hints
Hint 1: Here is a a rule you need to be aware of. It helps you to have people in court assigned to the commands you give out. for example
+0,4 Speciality, Gdansk
Here @phoriist gets +0,4 BECAUSE he in his turn said:
Olaf Nosek has 6 in administration so therefore he gets double as much as if @phoriist not had assigned him. So REMEMBER to assign your people, and please do it every turn, ALSO if you have changed their title to something related. it makes it much easier for us
Don’t worry. Those guys are here only to make your country grow easier.
#Files
- Actual Stats (‘Espionage chart’ not included. You must remember about all sended spies)
- Actual Map
Each lightgreen part of map is an unoccupied province. Each darkgray part of land is a wasteland. Wastelands may be splitted and turned into provinces, but it will be expensive.
