How you are creating the .smod?
Remember it is just the folder zip/compressed file renamed to smod. So, don’t compress it with other formats like .rar or .7z. The file will be different. (I use winrar, and by default it tries to create a .rar, I need to force the option to create zip instead.)
i tried it with a .smod using the default zipping thing windows comes with and it had the “invalid manifest” problem, so i’m pretty sure the problems not related to the program that was used…
I’ve got a mod with Uppercase letters. i just made it a .smod and it loaded fine.
Here’s my idea. Is there 2 different versions of the mod in the mods folder? Because if you’ve got a .smod and a .zip, I feel like one might take priority over loading the other, and if the one with priority doesn’t work, but you uploaded the other one that does… Maybe that’s t?
nope, i removed all mods but this ones .smod and the base game earlier, and it still didn’t work in.smod form… so i’m really at a loss with this one
Yeah I broke it xD I hope we can find a fix for this
But is it just the mod name with uppercase? I’m guessing it is the files inside that had uppercase, mainly his manifest, causing this.
OPh god the manifest is capitlized, that might be whats causing this issue.
Update:
Thats what it was…
This is what I like about the community
Glad that you were able to fix it, @cole3050
