Game will not load my save after 13 hours

Summary:

loads my save about half way then it says stonehearth has stopped working

i already have 13 hours into this game, this starting after my game became so laggy that it was unplayable and i restarted my computer. havent been able to play after that

It’s likely that your savefile is corrupt and can’t be restored, but maybe you can load a previous save to continue playing.

In any case, could you upload your savefile that is crashing so we can investigate it?
To upload a savefile:

  1. Find the save folder for the saves you wish to upload. By default, they are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games (assuming a default Steam install).
  2. Zip the folder.
  3. Right click the folder (should be a long set of numbers).
  4. Left click on Send to in the menu that appears.
  5. Left click on `Compressed (Zipped) folder).
  6. (Optional) Rename the folder to something different than the default set of numbers.
  7. Upload the save.
  8. If the zip is less than 10 MB, you can upload it directly. Either use the upload button or drag and drop it into the compose window,
  9. If larger than 10 MB, upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and post the sharing link here.

in my attempt to get it to work i already reverted it back to a previous save by creating a new world then loading an old save. but ill still send it because this world has a lot of things wrong with it, for example when the mountain boss guy event where you end up befriending him from what i can tell he is supposed to afterwards run off and disappear but instead i have a small army of goblins just sitting around my village not interacting with anyone lol. and of course there’s the usual villagers models turning into crazy piles of parts
