Game Crashes before completely loading a save

Summary:

Hello, I can open the game through Steam and select “Continue” or “Load Game” for my most recent save and then about half way through the blue bar the game crashes with no error message or popup.

Versions and Mods:

I am using the most recent build (was working fine hours prior). I am subscribed to a few build templates but no external mods.

System Information:

Windows 10, GTX 2080 Super, External Monitor

I have checked/ verified my game cache in steam and restarted my computer.

Notes:

Different number of active mods from save list

I only added the debugging mods and only attempted to loaded the versions without them in it. Still to no avail.

Also another piece of information is that I can load previous saves of the same playthrough so I am not sure what crashes the newest one. I tried loading it up before even including the debugging mods at all - nothing…

Oh what are they so I can try to disable them and see if it loads? It was working fine an hour before the post with no changes. I really appreciate the help!

I have tried disabling every single mod and nothing would allow the save to load. What should I do to try and get it back?

New Info: After another few hours of testing, the same save file will not work on others iterations of the game even totally fresh without mods or anything. Is there a way to “fix” or uncorrupt this save? I had auto save on which I assume overwrites itself but are there anyways to alter the bin file or the text files in order to help the game be able to load the save? I am not sure if I can further diagnose without knowing where in the process of loading the save the game crashes.

After trying everything I could I am relegated to asking any stonehearth dev’s - how do I uncorrupt this save file… Please help!

You need to run with the EXACT same mods that the save file had

Hey, I have tried that multiple times but it does not seem to work either. Are there any other forms of troubleshooting I could do? Previous iterations (maybe 3 or so hours beforehand) work fine just this one broke while I wasn’t even playing.

I guess you are stuck them. If using the same mods is not working, one of those have errors. But removing mods will also throw errors

Ok thank you for the help, I will hold on to the file, if there are ways to have the dev’s learn from the file I can attach it here.
