Summary:

Just started a new save. played for about an hour with no issues, then random crash. Game kept randomly crashing. Updated graphics drivers to see if that was the issue. Game seemed ok for a while but then another random crash.

Have you attempted basic troubleshooting steps here: Crashing on start? Read this! UPDATED October 18, 2016

Yes

Notes:

None

log shows errors at the shadow map - looks like there is an issue with the shadows - best is the minimize shadows in the settings and test again.

My settings are minimum everything except for not using the fallback renderer.
Still crashed again randomly after like 10 minutes of playing.

UPDATE: Crashed even with Fallback renderer enabled. i dont get it…
UPDATE 2: Reinstalled the game, didnt change anything.
UPDATE 3: Tried playing on windowed mode, seemed to work better but i crashed again. same reason it seemed from the logs. I then tried only using double speed instead of triple, this time with settings at mostly maximum (clicked recommended settings button). Game ran fine and seemed pretty stable during that, although all I was doing was building while my hearthlings moved some stuff that had been mined. it did eventually crash again but this time i didn’t notice any of the shadow map errors in the log. Made an account to +1 this. I’m seeing the same thing with very similar messages at the end of my log file.
