Summary:
The game will not start when launched from Steam or from the File Explorer.
It appears to be running for a few seconds, then stops running as if nothing had ever happened. No windows open during this time.
Task Manager registers that the application starts, but only for a fraction of a second.
From looking at the Stonehearth.log file, the problem arises from the crash reporter being unable to start.
Even after launching Steam in administrator mode, and running the crash reporter as administrator separately, nothing happens, with no changes to the game files.
Steps to reproduce:
- Not sure how to reproduce, as I am attempting to run the base game with no mods.
Expected Results:
The game starts, as it did on previous devices that I’ve owned.
Actual Results:
Neither the game nor any of its accessory applications start. Since I bought this computer, I have not been able to run the game because of this issue.
