Game crashing after 30 minutes

I play for like 30 minuets and then it crashes and I loose my save

(Ignore everything under this those problems have been fixed.)

Can you try following the steps over on Lavasoft’s support site?

Aha! Thank you so much! Now that that problem is done it’s crashing on startup! xD I’m looking at another post so hopefully it will fix. I will tell you if it does not.

Were you able to remove Lavasoft completely?

Are you crashing now before or after the game opens?

I always crashed. At first it gave me the Lavasoft problem. Now that is gone I don’t get that. it just crashes the second I start it up. Or White Screens. and says “Stonehearth has stopped responding”

Sorry for the late reply, @TheStone, I wasn’t at home.

First, can you make sure that you have your graphic drivers updated?

Second, if you’re playing by Steam, right click Stonehearth on your Steam library, select “Properties”, select the “Local Files” tab and click on “Browse Local Files”. There you should see a file called “user_settings.json”.
Open it with the notepad, and if it only contains your user_id, replace the content of all the file with this (remember to replace the user_id value with the one you had):

OMG! You did it!!! The only thing happening now is that it crashes like 15 min in if you can fix that it would be good xD. But I can actually play! How can I repay you dude!!!

Hey @TheStone, glad you got it up and running (for a little while, at least)! Let’s keep troubleshooting…
…as @Relyss suggested (by they way, not a dude ), can you upload your stonehearth.log and crash.dmp file here? Also, can you confirm which version of Alpha 13 you are playing (release 483 or 489)? If 483, can you check that CPP AI and Subspace Pathfinding are enabled in Gameplay settings?

Um I can try I cant open the crash reporter. I could not upload the entire thing because it was to long here is the last part which i’m guessing was the crash.

The crash_reporter is not meant to be opened. Thanks for the crash.dmp, and I am assuming that the text below it is part of your Stonehearth.log? As the top of the log is important as well, can you upload it (like the crash.dmp) instead of copying and pasting? If the file is larger than 10 MB, you could try compressing it to a zip, and if it is still too large, please upload it to a file sharing site (like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc.) and paste the sharing link here.

Great! I am not seeing any red flags in your log or crash dump, but I am by no means an expert. This is not the only post I have seen regarding early game crashes, so one of the devs (likely @Albert) will probably take take a look at this at some point. In the mean time, let me get a few more pieces of information from you, so the devs can have as much information as possible:

While the first 2 lines don’t appear normal (though I don’t know what they mean), the last line is the usual last line (it means you closed the game ) .

No worries. The easiest way to find your Windows version and CPU (processor) info (and other useful stats too!) would be via DirectX Diagnostics. To access it:

Open the Run dialog by hitting the windows key and r on your keyboard
Type dxdiag into the box and click OK
Locate your Operating System and Processor in the list.
