Game crashes on save load - simulation.core Failed to load: could parse object 475205 of 489103 (size:84)

When i load the game, and click load game, it loads up to halfof the blue oading bar and restarts… it goes from the loading screen straight back to a black screen untill “radiant” fades back up just like on game launch, thats all, if i start a new game it works fine but if i leave the game and then go back, i click load game and it just keeps restarting, please help, i have windows 8.1 and nvidia geforce 745m, intel i7

Hey there @RetroPunk, does this happen with all save games, or is there a single particular save that is not loading?

Can you upload the save to the Discourse? First, locate the save folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games (assuming Steam default location). Then, zip the folder you wish to upload. If it is less than 10 MB, you can upload it directly to the discourse (drag and drop it into a new post). If larger, please upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and paste the sharing link here.

so, once i typed that i created a new save, without deleting my other one, and my old one is a desert, kid one and my newest one is a forest, “none-kids” and the forest one works but not the older one… i exited out and went back to see if the new one would have that problem but it dosen’t, seems like its just the desert map that is weird for me, or it may be in an older update because i have my steam auto update, ill get back to you if the problem comes back, thank you

oh, ok, so i zipped it and draged it but when i did it said “new users cannot upload attachments”

That would be it. Let me see what happens when I try and load it.

Unfortunately, it looks like that save is corrupted in some way. I have the same issue when loading it myself, and there is an error in the logs. This line:

appears to show that something could not be loaded, and immediately after that log shows that the game reloads the title screen. Sorry about this, there isn’t anything else I can suggest :frowning:. @albert might be able to help next week (when back from vacation), but I cannot promise anything.
