so i have been playing Stone hearth scene alpha 5 and every time i build houses for my people i always run in to a little annoyance. I will build a house and then furnish it and then have my little guy build the house while my carpenter/mason crafts the furniture, but some times they build a really good quality item and then they don’t place it down were i wanted it to and so i come to find out that one of my houses has no furniture. would there be a way to make it so that furniture and there excellent quality counter parts share the same IDs or something so that way my builders will place them down with out me manually having to make them place it down.
It used to be this way, but the you ran into trouble with coloured fences, because then you would have a series of fences with every 10 -15 fences a white one, which looked kind of silly.
I would rather have they don’t build fine furniture @ random, but that it was a choice.
I think this is also a good choice for now. I do think that having a checkbox option later down the road would be nice…something that’s like
Use Best Quality Items?
really i dont remember it ever being an option?
cause it never been but they said that it will change for learned recipe instead of random
workaround: give a maintain order instead of craft order. so you make sure he crafts exactly what you want.
there 'll still be fine stuff in result, but at least you don’t have to worry.
