Set “Roof Offset” to 0 and increase it after you have put the roof in place.

already tried something like it and it aint worked

Your roof in the pic also seems a little bit “broken”. Did you use the wall tool or created the walls yourself?

I think that’s a separate issue, the ‘max height’ needs to be 0 for that roof type or else it has a ‘hump’ in the middle. It can be aesthetically pleasing on longer buildings but in this case looks like it’s broken. I’ve also had this gap issue but fixed it somehow, and I can’t for the life of me remember what I did. Also it may be worth noting you can only set the roof height to 0 manually by clicking the number, using the arrows will only allow a minimum of 1.

Edit: Tried and failed to get this to happen intentionally, creating the walls with manually oddly worked perfectly fine despite previously getting an error message every time I had tried it before. Sorry I couldn’t help there at all.

Hmm…this is definitely odd. First, as @ch1ck3n asked, can you confirm if you used the “auto-wall” tool, or the manual wall tool. Second, did you receive any errors in this save previously (even if for a different building/issue)? Third, were you able to place the roof? If so, can you upload the save game and building template to the devs can take a look at it?

I used both auto walls and the manual tool. I tried again the solution @ch1ck3n told and it worked.
And finally I dont had any error pop up in this save before. I’ll do my best to upload the save files but last time I tried to send one I corrupted the files …

PS: sorry I if my syntax isn’t totally correct I do my best but english isn’t my first langage so…

Glad you got it working, and no worries about your syntax, you are explaining just fine!

Also while looking after the heartlings to build this:

I’ve noticed that they where walking “in” the roof like it wasn’t there. What I mean is that they walked on the top of the wall and not on the top of the roof.

I’ve seen this as well (though with the peaked roofs, not flat). Seems that the roof is not treated as a solid structure until the building is fully built, not sure if this is intentional or not…

In this case the building was already finished. I built the star later in the game

Hmm…that’s interesting. The flat roof does have open slits in it, so a Hearthling could fit though. Was there a ladder or staircase inside?

they were actually inside the wall part of the roof not in the open parts if you understand what Im trying to say @jomaxro

edit: and yes the building have a staircase but it was built after the building and before the add on showed earlier
edit:edit: notes: and its not an acess to the rooftop

I do understand. Let me ping @Albert so the devs are aware of this issue as they are working through building improvements.
