Errors: the shop and the UI are lagging

Summary:
This is my first forum post; I hope I haven’t made any mistakes—please correct me if something’s wrong.

Since the update I’m experiencing two issues, although one of them existed even before the update:

  1. Merchant stall display error – this occurred prior to the update.
  2. After playing for a while, the UI starts to lag heavily, even though the game itself runs perfectly smoothly.

Steps to reproduce:

Merchant issue:

  1. Open the merchant’s shop.

UI issue:

  1. Play for an extended period (starts after about 1–3 hours of gameplay).
  2. It may be affected by the game’s 3× speed, but I’m not sure.
    Even if I stop using it or only use it intermittently, the UI still starts to lag.

Expected results:

Merchant:

  1. The merchant’s stall doesn’t display in the UI—only a black outline appears

UI:

  1. The UI starts to lag really badly, taking about 3–10 seconds to open, even though the rest of the game runs perfectly smoothly without any slowdowns, etc.

Notes:

  1. Before the update, the UI also lagged, but only when there were many residents; now there are only six.
