So is it possible to play this on Raya’s children? They don’t start with a carpenter, so they can’t make the pumpkin wards.
The pumpkins are only necessary for zombies (cd2). For vampires (cd3) you need the mason to craft the ankhs.
But, the merchant visit your town every time (I think twice a day?) so you can just buy those from him.
A few more years to come, and we’ll need to have a book reserved solely to have the name of the event written down!
“Return of the return of the return of the return of the […]”
Return^666 of Candledark!
How can I make it less agressiv? It can’t be that the trigger is set to the snd night or smth. early.
I want that it triggers if I have over 20 Hearthlings and at last up to 5 Footmans but currently it is unplayable because at the beginning you don’t have anything for defending.
So at which line of all those lua files must I made the changes so that I have any chance to build up a defens?
Also I don’t want to rush in such games so if it takes a few real time hours for me to setup the defens then the mod
should recognize it and should also be slow down.
You are not supposed to defeat them with footman. Actually, they are purposely stronger so that you can’t defeat them that way.
What the mod expects you to do is build the wards. pumpkins against zombies and ankhs against vampires. Each of those placed in your word damages then a lot, in a 60 blocks radius.
I can’t find anything of those Objects. Have searched for them but found nothing.
Which job crafts them and are they craftable from the beginning on?
As soon as you accept the quest from the old man, he will teach your crafters, the pumpkin is made in the carpenter and ankhs in the mason. You can also buy them in the daily trader that visits your town.
Ok, but I don’t have any carpenter at the beginning when I am playing Rayyou’s Childrens (or how they called). Means that I choosed the trapper’s knife on the beginning so it will be hard to get the req. stuff.
If you chose the second option, you will have the vampire campaign, so the mason will do the ankhs.
The first option is about the zombie, which require the pumpkins crafted by the carpenter.
These options are given to you when the old man asks if you know about the event, if you asks him to explain, you are playing the zombie campaign (it is the same from last year). If you tell him that you already know stuff, the vampire campaign starts (the new candledark for this year)
