Doors disappear when placed sign

This bug happened when I place sign to a building from building design mode and Doors disappeared.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Build a new building with door but no sign.
  2. Select any sign from build&design mode and place them to a building.
  3. Door in that building will disappear.

Version Number and Mods in use:
Alpha 16 - release 553 (x64)

hmm… the cause might be that you placed the sign from the building designer, rather than the placement tool… but even if that is the reason it shouldn’t be happening. paging @sdee

I expected my house will decorated with sign but what happen is door is missing.
I found this because I’m too lazy to search one sign from a huge area of stockpile.
I didn’t think it a big problem but thanks for your reply.

you don’t have to search the stockpiles to find and place items, as there’s actually a special UI for it :smile:

oh! I didn’t noticed it before. I knew that icon was there but never use it.
this might make me play easier. and thanks for your help again.
