Bro omg, you have opened my eyes, why did I never see this before?? I used to cross stitch all the time, and it never even occurred to me how similar pixel art was to it. I have always struggled with pixel art, but if you just apply cross stitch design patterns… bruuuuh I gotta go find some pattern books and try this out omg
Hehe I used the cross stitch patterns from my mother for my first pixel arts on my old Sharp calculator 20 years ago
