Have you updated manually your graphic drivers?

Also, there could be programs interferring with the game, or even your antivirus.
Other than that, if you’re playing with the 64bit version of the game, try playing with the 32bit version. Or try to lower your game settings to see if it helps.
It runs fine, no lag for any other game, only thing about this game is the sudden crashing

No, it should run fine no matter if you have windows Vista, 7 or 8 / 8.1

control panel --> system & security --> system
the info under the system
part of that page is what we call your “computer specs”
Which brand of graphic card do you have, for example, is it a Nvidia, an AMD, an Intel one?

Also, you could upload your stonehearth.log file? (there’s an upload button when you reply to the posts:)
The stonehearth.log file is located in the folder where you have Stonehearth installed.
Does no one use dxdiag anymore?
Press windows key and Q at the same time. This should open the search charm on the right hand side of your screen.
Type dxdiag and dxdiag.exe should appear in the box. Hit enter
Dxdiag will open, and in the bottom right hand corner there should be an option to save all information. Click it and a window will pop up, click save to save a file called DxDiag.txt to your desktop.
You can then upload the text file. Its the icon with the up arrow you see when you click reply (7th one along see @Relyss)
This file contains a lot of information about your computer, including driver versions and hardware configuration. It will enable us to help you further.
