Crafters on strike

This has been said posted before, i looked up the threads to find a fix but nothing seems to be working…

So, I got my blacksmith to level 6, defeated the first batch of goblin archers and unlocked the blueprint to make the elite goblin gong thing. But now my blacksmith will no longer create items, mainly ingots. I’ve managed to get him to craft armor pieces but now I am out of ingots to make anymore, and when i get him to make ingots, he collects the materials then just stands there. I’ve then noticed my carpenter is doing the same things. Also noticed that the workers aren’t building my wall anymore either…
I have tried many of the suggested fixes in similar threads (saving and loading the game, demoting then re-promoting the Blacksmith and even trying to assign another hearthling to be the blacksmith) I have made sure to give the crafting areas heaps of room and easy access to the needed materials, even created new crafting stations, placed second copies of the crating stations. But they just wont do anything. Kinda frustrating as i cannot upgrade my army anymore. If anyone could help me with this issues, id be mighty grateful.

Welcome to the forum, @GearoidOfHell :slightly_smiling_face:

Could you upload your savefile?

  1. Find the save folder for the saves you wish to upload. By default, they are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games (assuming a default Steam install).
  2. Zip the folder.
  3. Right click the folder (should be a long set of numbers).
  4. Left click on Send to in the menu that appears.
  5. Left click on `Compressed (Zipped) folder).
  6. (Optional) Rename the folder to something different than the default set of numbers.
  7. Upload the save.
  8. If the zip is less than 10 MB, you can upload it directly. Either use the upload button or drag and drop it into the compose window,
  9. If larger than 10 MB, upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and post the sharing link here.

It does indeed sound like a bug. We’ve had some recent report about a crafter gathering the ingredients then not continuing crafting, which is very worrying. Might be the same that is happening to you.
There are several cases of crafters stop crafting in our queue, and I hope that they get fixed soon since we will be working on crafting for A23 most probably.

I think i’ve done this right?

The set up I have in the kingdom has been working for a while, so why it has suddenly stopped working for me is beyond me. Thank you.

Could you change the shareable link and ensure that it says ‘Anyone with the link can view’?
It’s asking for permissions

Seems that they can’t reach the wood (and you don’t have many logs left, either).
There’s a log trapped on top of a tree that can’t be seen because it’s lower than the upper part of the tree, for example.

Getting more wood will help. :slightly_smiling_face:

Well don’t I feel like an idiot. The carpenter didn’t say we were out of wood… But what about my wall?
