Changing building colors/materials (bug maybe?)

i have this issue,
i’m using the mason workshop as a base to create the carpenter one, so i tried to change the wall materials (from stone to clay) and this happened.

looks like the original design had some blocks painted so they won’t change when selecting any other color template nor material type.

so my questions are the following.

  • is something only i am experiencing?

  • is this a bug?

  • is it possible to change the color template/material to the entire wall without having to repaint the already painted blocks?
