Carpenter collecting neutral wood without orders

Summary:
My carpenter decided that the wood in the chest right next to him where not good enough and went of into the forest to pick up some logs from a lightningstruck tree. I had not set any loot orders on that wood, so it was orange/neutral. I am all for independent thinking and all, but when he decides to do this right when the goblins have announced that Ogo will arrive in a short while, i get a bit concerned? I figure that this is a bug and not a game mechanic to bring my hearthlings in trouble?

Thanks for the bug report! Was the carpenter grabbing the wood to craft something or was he restocking?

Edit: Nvm I can see from your screenshot that he was collecting ingredients. We’ll look into this

oh good. since this bug applied to all crafting classes not just carpenter. the hearthlings would not locate resources by testing the local environment, but what seems like a arbitrarily sorted list created some time ago. That’'s why if you do things like pickup containers that are far away and put them back down hearthlings would stop prioritizing them since they’ve been pushed to the back on the list.
