So I’m trying to create some buildings for my town and I’m working on a barracks. I had to completely destroy what I had three times simply because I couldn’t delete a wall and the undo feature wouldn’t reverse the changes. Is this a known issue?

Undo should remove auto-walls, but I’ve found it’s always a bit finicky. It just randomly doesn’t work sometimes.
