Can't create carpenter's wall mounted sign

so i created the carpenters house, but as it was building it it said that it could not create the carpenter’s wall mounted sign because it needed 1 wooden wall sign.

i went into the crafting orders and created a wooden wall mounted sign but the carpenter’s wall mounted sign in the queue just stayed incomplete because it still says it needed the wooden wall sign.

am i doing something wrong?

Could you upload your save game.
But before that try to craft some wooden wall signes and see if the problem is still there.

Sometimes it is worth cancelling the order for the carpenter’s sign and then queuing a new one after the plain wooden wall sign has been made. This has also happened to me with beds and chairs.
