Alpha9 (r256) 64bit Intel.
Prefab nor custom. Nothing gets placed. Just get these errors:

I think I’ve gotten this error before
Were you trying to edit a prefab?
If I remember correctly, it popped up when I tried changing the log walls to plaster ones on a prefab building. Couldn’t build anything else after that.
Does it go away when you reload the game?

I’ve had the building tool permanently break during some slab-related shenanigans, but I don’t know what caused your problem.

FYI, haven’t played in a few weeks partly because of this, So I fired things up and I’m still getting it. Now, it’s also on my AMD 64bit machine running 256x64.
About 8 folks with defeated goblin chief.
