Summary: I’ve started a peaceful run on The Ascendancy in the blackmun forest

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start construction of a building
  2. Wait until workers lose interest in the building
  3. No matter how many structures you make afterwards, the building will remain abandoned

Attachments: None

Version Number and Mods in use: No mods, Versiion 0.22.0 Release737 x64 build

System Information: 3,50 Ghz. 64 bit Operative System, AMD-FX six-core precessor. Windows 7 ultimate

I’m guessing that there is some spot of the scaffolding where they cant reach to make new ones or to remove old ones to finish the house. i had that happen quiet often with complex builds.

you can try to add ladders if you find any spots that they might not be able to reach.

uploading your building template might help with the specific house for research by the devs

It wasn’t quite a house, it was a huge dining room, I tried building and re - buiilding it three times, and they simply abandon it

Stupid questions, but they do have all the materials and items they need to make it?

Feel free to also send us a save game so we can take a closer look. It may just be that you’ve run out of building materials, but if it’s a pathing bug, the devs will have a reproduceable save to work from.

Instructions:

  1. Find the save folder for the saves you wish to upload. By default, they are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stonehearth\saved_games (assuming a default Steam install).
  2. Zip the folder.
  3. Right click the folder (should be a long set of numbers).
  4. Left click on Send to in the menu that appears.
  5. Left click on `Compressed (Zipped) folder).
  6. (Optional) Rename the folder to something different than the default set of numbers.
  7. Upload the save.
  8. If the zip is less than 10 MB, you can upload it directly. Either use the upload button or drag and drop it into the compose window,
  9. If larger than 10 MB, upload it to a cloud storage site like Dropbox, Google Drive, File Dropper, etc. and post the sharing link here.

Yes sir, they do. I always make sure to have the materials at hand before even begining construction (That means, if the building has 18 windows, I ask the carpenter to make 18 windows before even planning the construction)

In the front part of the house, place 2 ladders:

Somehow the hearthlings can’t reach those blocks in green in order to place them.
This shouldn´t be happening with the new building editor.
