Building gets half finished, idle workers. errors

Summary:
Almost every Tier 2 house buggs out and ends up not being built and progress is at a snails pace, the furniture is being made. also it seems like they just drop items where they feel like sometimes.
gets 3 errors 2 are the same once when it loads up the save. and the other two after some progress of the building is done.

Error 1 – after save is loaded

Steps to reproduce:

  1. load up save
  2. start to build tier 2 tavern, or inn ect.
  3. errors show and building slows down untill it fully stops.

Expected Results:

to have my house built

Actual Results:
A skeleton of a house, idle workers that does nothing, furniture and items all over the place.

new or i would have attached error report in pdf and savefile.

Version Number and Mods in use:
Version 23 no mods (Steam)
System Information:
Windows 10 x64 , core i5-3350, nvidia Geforce GTX 960.

Not an expert or anything and pretty positive that building is broken because mine wont finish either, but I see storage space in that error report so I would plop down a 2x2x2 block of stone storage boxes and try to sort out what needs extra space.

Plopped down several stone chests so there should be more space and the stockpile isn’t full.
put several workers on hauling duty and they just went idle and lazy doing nothing. sometimes they just dumps their inventory on the ground like they got sick of doing their job and want to rebel.

yeah even saved patterns I had didn’t want to get built by anyone.

Perhaps post a savegame for us so we can debug it easier for you.

Is it possible that you hit the total item limit for your town?

What is the maxium of items?

The maximum item limit increases with each hearthling that joins your town. You can see where your limit is by looking at the town inventory window. It is shown in the bottom corner as ### / ####.
