Summary:
I thought to myself: This one should be simple. Build a quick 1x2 wall because this fence doesn’t quite line up with the side of the mountain and I need a way to close this gap. So I select the slab tool and toss one up. Next thing I know I’ve got a stranded builder standing on top of my new post, derping into the mountain face.

this should be fixable by building a ladder to him… but still, it is slightly annoying that things like this can happen.
Yep. After he woke up from his nap, he came down the ladder and life resumed. Considering he can reach that high, I don’t see why (or even how) he ended up on top of it in the first place.
one thing thats confusing to me is that, unless it changed recently, hearthlings should be able to walk up 1 block and “jump” down 2 blocks, so he should have been able to get off of there…
It’s possible he went idle on me (see my early game idle worker topic from yesterday), and I built him a ladder before the AI caught up to him.
