Bug - Hearthling is not moving -> Starving to death!

Summary:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Footmen are attacked by goblins and injured
  2. Footmen went back to the village and lay in the bed
  3. Herbalist hearthling moves to the injured footmen and is stuck
  4. Herbalist hearthling does not move even if town alert mode is activated
  5. Herbalist heartling starves to death

Expected Results:
Herbalist heals the injured and turns back to work

Actual Results:
Herbalist is stuck in the house (where the injuerde footmen are) and does not perform any action

Zedd is a worker not a herbalist according to your screenshot.

For the time being, you can use a console command to release the worker/herbalist: Push Ctrl + C, click on the hearthling and type “reset”. That should do the trick.

Yes. Zedd was a herbalist you can see the staff to his left. I made him a worker to see whether that would help.

Do you have the save where this is happening?
We’ve had some reports in the past about similar situations, and the hearthlings just died in the end.

When you restart the game, is he still alive? If so, could you upload the savefile?
