Wow… Morrowind… that was waaay back xD
SHHHHH! I’m not old. Please don’t make me feel old!
FYI/off-topic: there’s a super cool mod that overhauls the game, giving it circa 2008 graphics - bloom effects and lighting and high-res textures! Still way uglier than Skyrim
but imo its still better…
Im actually playing Oblivion right now, my computer cant really handle skyrim.
before my beloved phector cries . thats what the caravan offers via coincidence ^^

oh, so they do offer corn turnip and berries…
They offer firepits? O.O
yes but for bad example give me 20 woodlogs/stone and i give you 10 corn xD
yep, very rarely. always accept those offers, cause firepits are harder to get.
ohhh yes ^^ thats the only way to get them and the only sense in them at the moment xDDD
ive got them from goblin loot chests before, but my hearthlings ate them or wouldnt place them down
I’d take that, corn’s a good food and I can gain back the stone/wood easy peasy
I’ve had as many as five firepits in the town at once. I almost always have at least two.
your villagers ate a fire pit?
I thought this discussion was about travelling merchants rather than those annoying “bring be 5 Arch-backed Chairs and I’ll give you 2 Basket of Turnips” things
Is it not an anonymous caravaner? Who would be handing out said brownies? Are you calling for brownies as an alternative currency used extensively by the caravaning community?
Thats what brownie points are
I actually was referring to caravans due to them being the people who actually make different offers.
But if a Bartering type system was in place it would probably apply to Merchants too
Personally, I would be a lot more inclined to trade with caravan’s if their deal were better.
What the… 6 oak logs for 1 juniper log… what’s wrong with you people?
Mhmm, I’d trade much more ifvthey actually offered good deals instead of poor ones. I’ve rarely gotten any deals that were useful to me.
It’s probably worth mentioning that traders (the guys that come back after some time) have a completely separate list of wants and rewards. They can give:
"rewards" : {
"stonehearth:decoration:wooden_garden_lantern" : {
"type" : "object",

},

},
"stonehearth:toys:plushie_toy_rabbit" : {

}
How much they give and what they want for it is definitely purely random within the bounds they’ve set.
