Blacksmith does not craft steel ingot

Summary: Instead of smelting steel, my max level blacksmith just stands around for days on end.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Queue the blacksmith to smelt steel.
  2. He grabs the iron bar and charcoal from the coffer.
  3. The crafting queue flashes green indicating that the blacksmith is crafting the steel bar.
  4. He does not smelt steel.

Expected Results: a new bar of steel

Actual Results: max level blacksmith, grabs the material, does not craft the steel bar

I know I’m replying to my own post but for anyone that may be interested I figured it out.

Turns out I placed the enhanced blacksmith anvil in front of the blacksmith crucible in such a way that the blacksmith could not get to it to craft the steel bar.
