I’m thinking about buying this but have two questions: Do you guys plan to keep supporting a DRM free version and/or releasing on GOG?

Stonehearth is available via the Humble Store, which is DRM free. There are no plans to discontinue selling the game there at this time. I do not know about GOG.
Important note regarding the Humble version: Updating the Humble version requires manual work from Humble, and thus is only updated on major releases, not each latest build. Purchasing via Humble sites include a Steam key in addition to the download, so if you want access to the latest release branch, you can do so.
