What I am trying to say is that when you explore you find materials/ores etc… So why not create a RARE mineral that when found affects the soldiers/gatherers and it might give them magical abilities. So for example if someone was ‘changed’ (for lack of a better term) they could gain abilities that use combat types of magic e.g.ignites sword on fire or becomes a full mage and only uses magic in battles (summons ice sword in close combat). They could become a healing unit or they could gain abilit…

Separate magic systems for different styles

I really like the idea that magic is like a nuclear energy that is powerful but can have dramatic consequences I have seen similar in previous games and it works well. I also like the dragon getting so powerful it is like a titan going after the town I hope they keep that too. If they keep the “magic styles” separated so they take different resources/buildings/character classes it would make it very difficult to become powerful in all different magics. I dunno if they want to get that in dept…

More magical classes?

Ok, so we will have Geomancers. That is nice. But how about pyromancers, aquamancers? Or some wizard type? I think there should be more magic in the game once you release it completely. How do we get to those alternate planes? Perhaps a castle filled with undead may generate in the world ruled by a necromancer? A power you could possibly get one of your workers to learn. I just feel like magic should eventually be a full gameplay mechanic. I mean i suppose it could be modded in (and I may…
