[A 10.5-3] Placed items shown in inventory

Title:
Bug : Placed items shown in inventory

Summary:
Sometimes furniture or decorations show up in the town/shop inventory, although there aren’t in a stockpile anymore.
Noticed especially, but not exclusive, with bought items.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. buy furniture/decorations (big banners in my case) from a shop
  2. place them
  3. next time a shop comes, look up the inventory
    or
  4. craft some furniture/decorations (chair in my case)
  5. place them
  6. look up the “place items” menu

Expected Results:
inventory should show the actual numbers in stockpile

Actual Results:
sometimes, the already placed items still show up in the inventory.
If you sell them, they disappear from their placed spot.
If you place them, the hearthlings will move them from their already placed spot.

Notes:
already seen in previous builds, but not paid much attention then.
If this bug is already known, I couldn’t find the thread (and I tried to).

Versions and Mods:
Stonehearth 0.10.0 (alpha_10_5 3) x64 build - no mods

System Information:
Windows 8.1 x64 | Intel Pentium dual core proc | 4GB system memory | Intel HD Graphics

I think it’s related to this bug and this bug. Basically, if the hearthling drops an item at the moment they put it in place, then the item appears to be in two places at once. The dropped version gets put into a stockpile and appears in the inventory/store lists. But if you try and place it again, they’ll get the original. If you try and sell it, the original is sold from where it is placed in the world.

The trick is to find some way to reliably reproduce the bug so they can fix it.

Interestingly, the stockpile version doesn’t show up in my physical stockpiles, just in the inventory screens.
But the second thread you posted fits perfectly

Maybe someone could merge the threads? (@8BitCrab, maybe?)

That could be the case, next time I play I will try to reproduce…
