Unofficial Model- and Template-Files for Qubicle

Just had the idea to create a repository of unofficial model- and template-files for Qubicle, as there are already some made available here and there. Having a single place for them makes it also easier to delete all references once we have the final models / templates available. Feel free to add your own .qmo-files if you like the idea and if you are willing to share them.

If I might suggest, please do not post files if you are not the creator.

Disclaimer for users: Please be aware that this are unofficial models / templates. They might not be a 1:1 copy of models seen in videos and screenshots related to Stonehearth. They are also not supported by Radiant and final models used in Stonehearth might differ significantly, i.e. if you want to mod existing models for the Beta or final game, you might need to re-do your work.

excellent idea, and an excellent resource for the modding community… :+1:

thanks for taking the initiative @voxel_pirate, and thank as well for the much needed disclaimer…

@voxel_pirate, you are the bomb

Most of the models in this .qmo are Radiant concept replicas available as a single download. Any additional models are my own work and are included as they are of a Stonehearth style.

Ver 1.2 Update :new:

Added some additional models.

The .qmo file will be updated as and when I replicate more concept art. Feel free to dissect it as you please.

Can you put the .qmo on this server? That would be great, Thanks!!!

Edit: Ok, that might not be necessary, as you can get the .qmo without being logged in over there.

I have the 3 skeleton types done, once I’m sure they are as close as possible I can put them up too

I have added a female version of the standard worker and the .qmo-file for the aqueduct I have posted here.

ok, my hats off to all our wonderful members… thanks for taking the time to not only create these great models, but share them with the rest of the community… it really does help get more people involved!

and im sure it goes without saying, but if anyone uses these templates, passing on a little “thanks” goes a long way towards seeing more work come from these wonderful modelers… :+1:

I have uploaded some of the items from my work on the group of pirates. You will find now the .qmo-file for a basic boat, a cannon and a treasure chest (with and without treasure) between the files above.

@SteveAdamo I hope that this is not only helping to get people involve, but that it also facilitates a culture of sharing and supporting between future modders . Never would I expect that people should upload here their unique creations where hours and hours have been spent for. But for such basic stuff… there is no big creativity behind, so why not save time for others and lower the barrier to enter.

Update: Also added a cart-model I have created some time ago and added a sheep (as know from the videos).

Added a file including the different footman progression stages… as I have started to play around with equipment levels recently.

Good work on the templates and models.

BTW, are you working on more models and templates?

@EpicDwarf To be honest, I hope that more people like Froggy will join and add their files. I do not have the intention to create this “repository” by myself . I will continue to upload additional files as I create them. However, I do have some other ideas I am working on… so if I create one, it will be in the context of this things.

yes, building a massive fan repository of models would be excellent for the modding community…

we need some models from @RoseyNineOneOne, @Pepe and others to add to the mix…

p.s. sure is easy to ask for, when you arent producing any content yourself…

@SteveAdamo Well… Pepe and Rosey are doing some nice work (as others). However, I do not want to ask anyone to put in here their own creations if they do not feel like. I am also not uploading all the stuff I have made, just because there are some things which took me a lot of time and a bit of brain to come up with. I consider this as a starting point… not as a copy shop . So far we have already some basic stuff ready to start work with and I am happy with that.

oh, absolutely… and i hope you didnt misunderstand my p.s. remark… it was aimed squarely at me for asking others to contribute, when i havent done so myself…

While I am more than happy to share the concept art replicas, like you I am very protective over some of the models I have created. If anyone wants a specific model of mine they are more than welcome to ask, and I will send them on personally.

While it might seem petty to some, I get annoyed when people recolour my models and pass them off as their own with no mention of the donor model… not a copy shop.

The 16 models I’ve shared is enough for me  I may add more in the future but right now, I feel I have contributed.

@Froggy and once more thanks for sharing them .

@SteveAdamo No, no. Did got your P.S. right. Just wanted to prevent that someone might feel like “he has to” do something. So just for some additional clarification.
