Yonder Chronicles

So I stumbled onto an article about this game while on Steam. I thought I would share it here because I have learned that there are many here who, like me, don’t want every game they play to be about fighting. It’s a game were you do “battle” with an evil force but you do so by helping people with your ability to farm, fish, craft, etc… I thought that was a pretty wonderful idea to put forth a narrative of putting positivity into the world to combat darkness.

What is the other games section for then?

Ohh oops, my bad. I thought I was still scrolling the gameplay section

On a note about Yonder, I saw a review about it saying that it is going to be somewhere between stardew valley and zelda. I hope it allows you to have a farm and live stock and things. Would be amazing with those graphics!!

In fact I found the article in the news section of Stardew valley. As the author put it, Yonder is like Zelda filtered through the lens of Stardew Valley.

Yes all those and more. From a video I found the island you explore has 9 towns and each one has a specialization and things you can pick up and do. One of the towns shown was made up of tailors. Also, the dev showed off that many different looks could be unlocked through the course of the game. Furthermore all the looks were completely customizable and are not limited to gender. Gal with a beard and or mustache, guy with a dress and long flowing luxurious hair, all possible.
