Will multiplayer co-op on the same world be available as soon as beta comes out?

I will most definitely play multiplayer most, so I would like to know whether co-op will be developed enough to come out in beta.

this is (highly) unlikely to be available at beta… the team really wants to nail down building and crafting…

as for the multiplayer pieces, they will arrive before release in Sep 2014, but not by beta this Dec…
