Why is everything about mods?

Same thing happened with Don’t Starve. The mods often eclipsed the game development because you had 10 times the modders as game developers. That and a modder didn’t have to make sure a mod was 95% bullet proof before releasing and didn’t wait several weeks before releasing an update.

It’s a positive, though, and speaks to the longevity of a game when there’s this much modding interest.
