Why does the game always crash whenever a meteor shower happens?

Hey everyone, I’m a player from Taiwan.
Recently, I’ve been experiencing crashes every time a meteor event occurs in the game.
I’m only using a Chinese translation mod, so I’m wondering if that might be causing the issue.
It’s really frustrating, because the game suddenly crashes and I lose buildings I’ve spent a long time working on.
It’s happened multiple times now, and I’m honestly heartbroken.

Has anyone else had the same issue?
Any ideas on how to fix this, or whether the translation mod might be causing it?

That sucks. Meteors might be hitting a weird edge case. Translation mods usually shouldn’t crash you, but try disabling it for one shower to test. Verify game files, update mods, check the crash log. Also back up your saves—seriously.

Hey there! Are you playing on Mac?
I remember someone else had issues with meteor showers and it was because of some Mac graphical incompatibility…
I don’t remember if we ever found a solution, though… I’ll look into it and see if I can find the conversation!
