I was thinking. When we get dwarves, won’t the mason have to replace the carpenter for the dwarves? For most races, wood is the most readily available resourse. But for dwarves, it’s stone!
Thus, the mason would have all the furniture as well as a majority of the starting tools for the dwarves, rather than the carpenter. Am I right, or what?
@Sandwitch Hopefully there will still be carpenter but it won’t be as useful.
Having dwarves implemented into the game really twists the usefulness of the mason now that I think of it!
the dwarven carpenter should be able to make fine and exquisite stuff using wood as top ingredient since it would be rare underground
just like stone made stuff is more expensive for regular Hearthlings ^^
Exactly! That is pretty much a summary of what I was thinking!
All depends upon Radiant’s take on dwarves. Will they be completely subterranean (pale skinned) or creatures of the surface as well as underground (ruddy skinned classic dwarves). Or to use Dungeon and Dragons as a basis, Duergar or Hill/Mountain dwarves. Wood supply becomes a factor then of course.
True that, but I think the lagomorphs already have the hills covered.
