They don’t sell the game anymore.
You could have tried Ebay or the like.
Don’t worry, I’m not a regular Pirate. I just did it this time because they don’t sell it anymore, most of the copies found on the Internet are pirated, the developers probably don’t care, and they don’t sell the game anymore.
All I did was just click on the first webpage that supported a download for the game.
ok, i think we’ve covered the bases here… let’s just refrain from (at least) discussing pirated software here… its bad mojo…
Ok, sorry I mentioned it.
Having not played a FF since IX and then going to XIII it was a … culture shock? To say the least.
Part of me was/is in denial about it, I think I’ve suppressed enough of the bad stuff to say that I actually enjoyed the game and XIII-2 wasn’t that bad either!
Although none of it was quite as epic as those earlier games … I don’t know … it almost feels like the FF market had grown up, yet the games hadn’t in a way? They certainly lacked that gritty melancholy that 7 & 8 had.
Saying all that, I’m pretty excited to see what FF XV will be like, it certainly looks interesting so far!
LOL, I would imagine!
Have you see this?
I’m glad you were able to enjoy XIII and XIII-2, though! I admit I can’t really put a finger on exactly why I couldn’t finish FFXIII. All while I was playing, I kept thinking I ought to like it, but I guess in the end I just didn’t connect emotionally with either the characters or the story. If you have any advice on what perspective to look at it to enjoy it better, I’d love to hear it.
Ha, well, I must admit the only character I felt any emotional connection to was Sazh, mainly due to that baby chocobo, cuteness always prevails.
Really I think it was just that I hadn’t played a FF in so long I was just happy to be playing, it does feel incredibly streamlined compared to other experiences, and looking back I will have to admit that it just wasn’t able to hook me in like the others.
In all honesty FF XIII absolutely pales in comparison to Lost Odyssey which I would absolutely scream like a little girl for if they were ever to announce a sequel.
I get that the franchise needs to adapt/ evolve or whatever, but it felt like a watered down game, at least to me.
No I haven’t actually! So far though it’s pretty spot on, that’d be amazing if they made these as little side projects and you could play them alongside or after completing the normal game.
YES.
Lost Odyssey is my cannon FFXII.
I can’t wait to get my remastered copy of the game to watch that scene again!!!1 Also, to play blitzball11111
Actually, blitzball aside, I liked FFX a lot. I have friends who have really strong negative feelings about it, usually about Tidus, but it was the right game at the right time in my life.
agreed! context is key for lots of scenarios like this… there are some games I’m just not proud to admit the time investment… but at the time, it all made perfect sense… ![]()
Every game in the Castlevania series after Symphony of the Night
Symphony of the Night was so brilliant with its art design, mechanics, a beautiful, diverse and haunting soundtrack and a deep focus on itemization. You’d think Konami had hit the jackpot and couldn’t wait to see where it went next. Still waiting, I’m afraid
The portable ones never really hit the same mark and the 3D ones almost seem like a gag. Well, here’s hoping the Dark Souls series reverse-inspires them to make a proper 3-D Castlevania the same way Uncharted reverse-inspired Tomb Raider’s brilliant new reboot.
Hmmm…Well. I can’t end a post so negatively so I’ll also add one of my favourite games to revisit! Mario Galaxy! That soundtrack! And the mechanics! And the world!
…is it bad that I want to live in that penguin-beach-bowl world but in real life?
