Good to know, I hope more people find my fix and use it.
Yes, I set it to Run as Admin, and that fixed my cursor issue as well. HOWEVER, it is not running in any compatibility mode, just to point that out. Just plain old Win8, no Comp Packs. But thanks.
EDIT: Hereās a video from me, just running through the basics. Watch out, though, no commentary or text or anything, just a quick little demo with whatever music I was playing at the time.
Notice the yellow sparkling, presumably from the āselectedā outline, the world chunk disappearing at long distances, and the clipping through of the camera.
Also, my computer can now run the test at 200 fps at fullscreen, 250 at base size/resolution. For some reason, it jumped WAY up from the 45 fps of earlier.
Hey guys. I know I havenāt been very active on the forum as of late but Iām still alive. Below are my system specs, everything on the test ran smoother than melted butter on a slip and slide. I did have a display driver failure which crashed the game, but these cards are fairly new and Iām not super surprised. It could also be attributed to be changing the 3D application settings while running the test.
CPU- FX8350
GPU- R9 290X
System Ram - 12GB
Primary HDD- Seagate 600 series SSD
Secondary HDD- Seagate 7200RPM HDD (Where it ran off of)
I get 220 to 320 FPS.
Itās great my fix got things to work.
I also received this error at first loading, then no problem on the second run or since then:

For me, it seems as though I canāt select the workers or bunnies. Are you supposed to be able to?
Also, the zooming in and out action is really slow for me
I had the !readPending_ thing when i first started it up, but from then on, it worked.
The bunnies donāt seem to be moving very naturally, like the bunnies sometimes slides, which is kinda weirdā¦
The app also seems to be taking quite a lot of processing power as when I run it, i keep laggingā¦
Iām not exactly good at the computer stuff, so hereās the basic info for my computer, well laptop to be precise
Windows 7 Professional
Rating: 4.5 Windows Experience Index
Processor: Intel® Core⢠i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz
Installer memory (RAM): 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System
Thatās basically what it says about the basic info on my comp.
Hey everyone!
So, I downloaded the Graphics Test and ran it on my laptop, but it gave me the error !readPending_. Tried restarting a few times and running it as administrator and eventually it started working.
When I get home from school Iām going to try it on my desktop computer.
My specs (On my laptop):
- GT 130M
- Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz
- 4 GB 800 MHz RAM
- 500 GB 7200 RPM HDD
It ran fine with ~45 FPS but my CPU was constantly at 100%. My CPU is not that great, but I hope itās not going to be the same on my higher end CPU!
Canāt wait to play the game. Itās going to be epic!

Me too, otherwise it runs perfectly fine
Using my old PC atm, spec as follows
AMD Athlon64 3000+ (2.00Ghz)
ATI 9600XT AGP gfx
1.5Gb ram
120Gb Hard drive
Vista Home premium 32-bit SP2
res = 1280 x 1024
hangs for a while, then gives āerror == GL_NO_ERRORā

thanks for all the feedback folks, and welcome to all the new members!
on a positive note, it would seem all the issues being experienced are at least somewhat consistentā¦
The test will not start for me after installation. Double clicking on the launcher does nothing. Not sure where the problems lies but I would really enjoy running this graphics test!
for those with the the test not opening, i had that issue till I made it open with my actual Nvidia card, instead of the regular processor stuff, just a thought :3
thanks @Cannon0006⦠could you walk someone through that process?
@SteveAdamo Sorry⦠That first post wasnāt visible for me when posting that one. Thought someone deleted it :\
of course, its simple for windows 7 users
- right click the icon
- mouse over ārun with graphics processorā
- select your preferred processor
- Profit :3
This is on a brothers computer. It should be able to run this game, considering that my PC can currently run it at 250FPS.
These are his specs: http://goo.gl/Qi4MkF
He gets the !readPending_ error, but then can run the program. If he attaches it to any side of the windows screen, he gets some error about size. His computer runs the application at a maximum of 9FPS, far lower than it should be performing.
They said that they are now considering making a linux version because people are requesting it. Nothing official has been announced yet though. Current goals are for Windows and iOS.
I get the stupid !readPending_ error
1920X1080
Windows 7

CPU 2.80 GHz
6,99 RAM
Please help me cause i really want to test the game to see if my PC can handle it
It didnt work for me
Like I told you in the comments of this video.
You can write up your issue and someone here may help you with it.
